I love the GAINAX series "FLCL", and Mamimi's invocation of The Lord of Fear has been stuck in my head for the last hour. I loved the news that 2 more seasons of the artsy show are currently in production. From what I gathered, these new episodes will be entirely seperate original tales having nothing to do with the chracters of season 1. But I'm sure they must be using the same setting. If you were hoping for a proper sequel, to see Raharu and Naota again, sorry. But I wouldn't be suprised if the Galaxy Space Brotherhood or Atomsk showed up somewhere. If not, they should at least incorporate some story elements like N.O. and do a little further worldbuilding of Mabase.
