Worldbuilding: Alternate Universes

Posted by Mindblade16 - May 4th, 2022

Concerning Alternate Universes of Orbspace:

The Realm of the Light Dragons is the Alternate Universe Koretoretos.

"Koretoretos Dragons be with me." is a prayer in the Empire of Koretoretos.

It refers to Black Dragons that live in Koretoretos that are inspired by the Black Dragon "Narse" from Record of Lodoss War. (Mizuno)

In reference to the "Five Chromatic Dragons"(Mizuno), the Variant Orbspace Version of Koretoretos would be themed not after Narse, but after Mycen.

This reflects the dichotomy between the warring states of Marmo and Valis. (Mizuno)

So, in this, I have correctly found the Fictional Inspirations for Loporia/Valis, and Koretoretos/Marmo.

In Symmetry, this would mean that the Main Timeline of Orbspace defines Loporia as Valis, and Koretoretos as Marmo, and in the Variant Orbspace, Dark Loporia is defined by Marmo, and The Realm of the Light Dragons is defined by Valis.

A way in which I envision the toggle of Light to Dark, and back again, is the flipping of a Tarot Card. One way is the definition, and opposite is the reverse of the definition. The Inverse Definition.

It would be in this way that all of the Characters in the Variant Orbspace would be flipped in the same way, by an Inverse of their Character Designs.
