I had a dream where I was flying around a mountainous area with a massive infrastucture of schools and libraries.

I gained the ability to fly, and that meant I had access to the higher levels of the library stacks, which went up 1000 meters.

With this level of education and leverage, I could now shop for Accessories that were both Professional and Academic.

I was shopping for a Sword, and a Blank Grimoire, and those were only available in the higher levels of the stacks.

The force of lift in flying applies to what one carries, invalidating the weight of those objects.

I got myself a Broadsword, and a Hardcover Handcrafted Journal, bound in Wood and Leather with Hemp Paper.

I am a Warrior and a Scholar.

I am the Flying Sage of the Mountains, because the Local Education System is nothing but Mountain Sages, of which a Minority had gained Flight.

Flight equated with a Master's Degree. The world opens up.

This seems like a good vision for a Character Set.

All Characters, in a Standardized Fashion must have a Sword and a Grimoire.

The Grimoire is empty so the Mountain Sage can treat it like an IDE, developing New Spells that are Organically Gained through Life Experience. Write down the Logic Pattern, in order to use it later, as one more choice in a collection of curated resources. Spells are Machines, and some Machines are Weapons, just as some are Tools. The Power of the Mountain Sage is partially their Age, because it is implied that a Full Grimoire contains a Treasure Trove of Spells that alter the World and those that live in it.

The Sword is for Physical Force, for Defense and Offense. It is made much more effective when Flight is added to the Character Set. This is because of 3 Dimensional Movement with your Feet off the ground. You manipulate with Physics, and the Leverage of a Game Engine empowering your Freedom of Movement. You could chop a Building in half, while treating your Sword like a Pencil. but also something that warps Gravity to your Will. The Sword took no Damage.
